Busy, busy, busy summer.

I will take a few lines here to kind of explain what kind of a summer we have had already.....
I have been doing quite a bit of overtime at my "real" job which really cuts into my fun time of making layouts and cards for friends and for the LSS. So I've been trying to get things done but then I don't seem to have time to get them posted in a timely manner.
Anyway, besides trying to fit all of this in a regular work week we have had my daughter moving into a new job, step-daughter's college graduation in May, my daughter's college graduation in June, our anniversary in June, my step-daughter's birthday in June, my daughter's 21st birthday in July, my step-daughter's wedding in July and we moved my daughter out of one apartment and into another one in a single weekend in June!! My poor step-son has only been able to hang on for the rides besides working his job!!
We did manage to take two weeks off in June for vacation, which is a good thing since most of it was spent running around this country chasing these kids. I'm POOPED!! Sad to say but I think I'm ready to go back to a "regular" sense of my normal day.
It's been a whirlwind ride but oh what a ride it's been!!!
We absolutely ADORE our new son-in-law AND his family and are looking forward to a lot more fun times with them!
Will keep you posted from time to time so you can try and keep up with what we are doing. I will try and not neglect the blog as badly as I have done lately. Also, stay tuned for pics from some of our summer escapades! Let me know what you think, love reading all the comments.
Stay tuned, more to come.............

This is the invitations I made for my daughter's college graduation. I LOVE how they turned out! I only wish the shimmer paper would show up better. I will be making many more cards like this, they are a lot of fun and they look so cool!

This layout was a spin off of the card I posted previously. I think I like the layout even better than the card! Love the Asian spin on this one! Please feel free to leave me a comment and let me know what you think.

This was a card I had made a couple of years ago for my Mom. Love the look, don't you?

Sorry for no posts lately, if I said things have been SUPER hectic around here it would be an understatement! So please accept my apologies for not posting and get ready for a few things I have worked on but just never had time to post.

This is a layout I made for LSS, this was a lot of fun to do and really, really easy. I used glimmer mist on the background and painted the #5 with metallic paints. The words were cut with my Cricut and the Storybook cart.
